THE MADDENING OF MACBETH
Fiery sisters, cursing, blurting
Fiendish harpies loving hurting
Those desiring so sly to bring
False acts of war against the King.
Eyes of venom, hard wills of steel
Calls of hatred to make those feel
That this way comes a prophecy
To make a King through heresy.
Seek to poison a fool’s desire
Make loyalty the grandest liar
At your castle old Duncan lies
Traitors gain as an old man dies.
The die is cast and so the savage, fearful bird of prey
Ignites the busy fires that make such awful night of day.
